Erik visited us from the Netherlands and flew a club members plane on
March 21, 1999.
Location The Piston
Poppers flying site is located on the grass fields south of the BAE
company building in
Fridley, MN on the east side of East River Road just 1-1/4 miles south
of Interstate 694.
Field Rules

All AMA safety rules apply to our field.

All motor noise levels must be under 90dB at 9' from the exhaust side of the
motor. May be checked at anytime with dB meter.

No motor running without mufflers (except .049 REED VALVE) still must comply
with 90dB at 9' from the exhaust side of motor.

Flying days are SUNDAY and WEDNESDAY with special
consideration for event days.
NO motor running before 10:00 AM or after 9:00 PM on Sunday.
NO motor running before 4:00 PM or after Dark on Wednesday.

Must use safety thongs for all flying (except racing events).

All control systems including lines, safety thong and aircraft are subject
to pull testing (with approved pull test scale).

Maximum number of planes in flight simultaneously is two (2) daily with a
maximum of three (3) in flight simultaneously during contest days.

Users must be in possession of current AMA license or be the guest of a
current AMA member and abide by all Field Rules.
